Ted Andrews Dear Angela, I was so very sorry to hear of Ted’s passing, but thank you very much for writing to me. I had the pleasure of working closely with your father for some 10 years in my post of Borough Engineer and respected him greatly. I was a young man then and his guidance was such a great help though admittedly it took him some time to fully understand my Scottish vocabulary. He always provided sensible advice too when dealing with awkward circumstances. I remember he had a great fondness for cheese and peppered salami before we all got our cholesterol checked and realised it was far too high. Runnymede was the better for his direction and many beneficial changes and improvements took place under his watch. Sadly I shall be away on holiday on the 8th February so cannot attend his memorial. I pass on my sincerest condolences to you and my love to Corrine. Graham Forsyth
