Grandad. We’re missing you so much but you gave us all enough love to last a lifetime, and we will carry that with us forever. Thank you for being the kindest, gentlest soul, for all our Wednesday dinners and Saturday morning cups of tea’s together, for all your stories about the past and for being everyone’s biggest supporter. I hope you’re having fun up there, I love you always xx

We remember Ted with such fondness. When he was well, he attended Market Overton Church as a Sidesman and would take the arm of his friend, John, who was unsteady on his feet. A group of us from the village would occasionally meet for lunch. He couldn't taste very much, but would come to be sociable and was interesting to talk to. He helped people in their village. If I called at the house, I was always invited in for coffee. Ted and Corrine were kind to their neighbour, Rikki, who was transgender and I recall Ted saying that nature had made life unfortunate for Rikki and they supported her all they could. This was so understanding. He was a lovely man.
